About Me
💻 I am tech-savvy and love the chance to add new educational technologies to my toolbox. I am proficient with the following tools: Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise, Camtasia, Vyond, H5P, Panopto, Figma, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud products including Captivate and Premere Pro. I also have worked extensively with the LMS systems: Schoology, Moodle, Blackboard, and Canvas (CIDI labs integration).
💡 I am also a virtual freelance contractor who enjoys managing email, social media, and other marketing strategies for my clients. I work closely with course creators to make their business ideas come to life.
📖 Curriculum and educational content is very important to me as I enjoy doing extensive research in course subject areas and creating course objectives, in addition to editing and formatting online textbooks. Currently I am an editorial board member for the peer reviewed Journal of Advanced Technological Education (JATE).
🤓 I am a lifelong learner and I welcome any opportunities to improve. I recently completed my Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, and I am working on my Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) through ATD.
⏰ My organizational and time management skills are very important to me, as meeting deadlines is crucial to saving project time and costs.
🎨 Other than instructional design, I have extensive experience with graphic design projects including adding 3D design elements and simulations into my courses. I also enjoy editing and designing personal and professional websites.
